Christine burbidge, Senior Consultant
Ms. Burbidge joined S.B. Clark Companies in January 2022 and works collaboratively on both housing and commercial projects using a variety of tax credit and financing tools. Ms. Burbidge brings 15 years of accounting experience, adding insight and depth to the financial models and consulting services provided by S.B. Clark Companies.
Prior to joining S.B. Clark Companies, Ms. Burbidge worked at the Denver Housing Authority where she primarily focused on closing and accounting for new developments, creating partnerships with investors using Low Income Housing and New Markets Tax Credits. While there she oversaw small planned community projects, one of which included 4% & 9% Low Income Housing and New Markets tax credits, Denver Urban Renewal Authority and Colorado Housing Investment Fund funding. In addition, Ms. Burbidge worked on several complicated financings including projects that used tax credits, bond financing, local, state, and federal governmental sources, and conventional debt financing.
Preceding her work at the Denver Housing Authority, Ms. Burbidge worked in the shared services division of Care Synergy, providing finance and accounting support for various nonprofit Hospices across the Front Range of Denver. While there she created financial statements and strategic planning presentations for both the Presidents and Board Members of the various organizations. Ms. Burbidge has worked in school districts in both Wyoming and Utah in budgeting and accounting roles. While in Wyoming, she primarily focused on special services and grant accounting and funding. While in Utah as the budget analyst, she worked closely with state and local representatives for reporting and funding, as well as financial planning with the school board. Ms. Burbidge has had accounting experience relating to both FASB and GASB rules and regulations along with tax preparation before relocating to Denver in 2015.
Ms. Burbidge received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Franklin University in 2006.
