Lynn Holmes, Senior Consultant and Director of Finance
Ms. Holmes joined S. B. Clark Companies in January 2022 with a background in financial services. She works on the NMTC side of the business, helping to explore and secure financing solutions for clients with commercial development projects in low-income communities. This entails understanding a client’s business and community impacts, cultivating relationships with Community Development Entities and other key players in the NMTC space, helping to identify funding sources for each client project, and preparing financial solicitations. Ms. Holmes also focuses on modeling complex tax credit financings and managing the financial closing process.
Ms. Holmes has nearly ten years of experience in commercial banking. Prior to joining S.B. Clark Companies, Ms. Holmes was a Senior Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a US-based commercial bank that lends to and supports growing businesses in the technology and life sciences industries. While at SVB, she maintained a portfolio of active clients and managed the entire loan approval and closing process. This included structuring and underwriting complex deals, building and analyzing financial statements, and managing loan documentation. Ms. Holmes also has extensive experience with distressed credits as well as risk analysis and mitigation.
Ms. Holmes received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Bucknell University. She also graduated with honors from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business where she received her Masters in Business Administration.
