Eric Leonard, associate consultant
Mr. Leonard joined S.B. Clark Companies in December 2022 with a background in affordable housing and economic development. Mr. Leonard works to understand the needs and objectives of S.B. Clark’s clients to provide support and guidance on affordable housing projects. Prior to joining S.B. Clark Companies, Mr. Leonard worked at the El Paso County Economic Development Department where he worked on funding affordable housing through El Paso County’s Private Activity Bond allocation and providing gap financing and down payment assistance through the El Paso County Housing Authority’s Housing Trust Fund. Prior to El Paso County, Mr. Leonard worked at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas on their affordable housing programs.
Mr. Leonard received a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from Michigan Technological University in 2012 and a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Southern New Hampshire University in 2019. Mr. Leonard has also completed the National Development Council’s Rental Housing Development Finance Professional certification.
